HP Global Philanthropy
Operation Springboard is dedicated to making our communities safer
by providing services to youth and adults who have been involved,
or at risk for involvement, in the criminal justice system. Their
services also extend to people with developmental disabilities and
homeless people. Springboard is working with S4Potential on developing
e-learning modules that address the key factors underlying criminal
involvement, such as anger management, poor relationship choices,
substance abuse, and cognitive reasoning. A technology donation
of laptop computers from HP has enabled Springboard to pilot and
deliver one of these programs at Springboard locations in Toronto
and St. Catharines.
