for students between the ages of 15-24 (up to 29 with a disability).

Please contact us for more information on
our upcoming summer job fairs.
|
The program runs from April to September each year, providing employment
support for students who are currently in school and returning in
the fall. Students have access to workshops covering an array of
topics, including: resume preparation, job search, interview skills
and workplace safety. Students also have access to an employer database
with positions in a variety of fields.
The Summer Jobs Service hosts job fairs throughout the summer with
on-site interviews and "on-the-spot" hiring. SJS will
be available for 2009-2010 from two key locations in North and South
Scarborough: Midland and Lawrence and Sheppard
and Warden .
Year-round services we offer to students include computer resources,
help with searches for part-time jobs and general resources to help
students find employment and training. We can also help employers
meet their part-time and summer staffing needs.
