Springboard's diverse range of services provides a variety of opportunities for volunteers to participate and contribute to their community.

Through an interview and assessment process volunteers are matched with activities and locations that meet their personal needs and provide challenges and opportunities conducive to personal and professional development.

In the past volunteers have chosen opportunities in many of the following areas:

  • Special Events
  • Literacy and tutoring
  • Employer outreach
  • Program development and/or delivery
  • Support counselling
  • Supervision of Community Service Orders
  • Front-line supervision
  • Recreation and activities
  • Clerical and administrative support
  • Fundraising
  • Community and Media Outreach
  • Administration and maintenance
